I have not bought this for ags but it looks like the current issue of Classic and Sportscar magazine has a feature  on the RX500

Just think if they would have gone into production with this at the time space age car.

Great article. Thanks. Lots of factual errors, but at least C&SC has come a long way since I subscribed to it back in the 1980s-90s. Back then, their favoured description of Mazda's was "traditional Japanese grey porridge". Curiously, they never applied the porridge metaphor on Marinas, Dolomites, Allegros or Tr7s.

I remember moaning at the editor one time and asked why there's was always wall to wall MGB's and Japanese cars were largely ignored.

But the MGB's etc sell the mag came the reply !

Judging by the December 2022 issue, there's still room for improvement. For their Datsun 240Z back to back test they chose, not the smaller engine E-type, but the TR6! 

It's a fun read, if only for the way they manage to describe all the Triumph's flaws as "charm" and/or "excitement". No thank you, kind sirs. I've had enough "excitement" of various shapes and viscosities on my garage floor as a former owner of British classics. 


But fair enough: Let MGBs sell C&SC and Mazda sell the great cars.
As for the grey porridge, I'm pretty sure it's not Japanese cuisine...
