Hold your prancing horses, Jamie.  ;)
150,000 NOK is £12,500 at the current exchange rate. Yes, its faded red paint is shrink-wrapped in black bin bags (aka foil).
Needs a paint job and mechanical work as well. Car is a german import, btw.

Interesting that FC's too are on the move.  I had assumed it was the generation of buyers who coveted the various cars of their teenage dreams that were moving rotary prices up but just read a report that said classic car 'market analysts' are advising their clients to 'buy down' a generation. So, it's likely the upward trend is not fuelled by money from affluent 30 or 40 somethings recapturing their youth but those in their fifties and sixties looking for a harbour for spare money and disinclined to believe an XJS is an ideal alternative to the E-Type they can no longer afford, now they are commonly up into the six figure bracket.  Two nice FD's for sale near me over 40k each, a bracket busting FB (albeit allegedly better than new) sale just completed; I wonder where it will all end?

Caveat: Any time I find my 'ancients' sensibilities (and buying power) assaulted by another surge in prices; confirming I have universally sold too cheap or at the wrong time -  I calm myself by glancing at the recent ad for a Mini Moke on offer at the bargain price of £24K.  A Mini Moke....£24K....I'm just going to lie down and take some more tablets.  :)

Haha. Yes, a ludicrous Moke or why not a 1200cc VW Bus for 60K.  :))
Here is an FB for half the price of the Turbo II, but look at the mileage! Nearly a quarter million kms!
Must have seen plenty of high revs well over the years.

Wow thats a lot of money for a couple of subframes and two pontoons to hold them together, mind you it will still go up year on year!
All the best Clive
