Hello everyone!
I'll be honest, I didn't even know this forum existed and I'm not one for forum's too much anyway.
I owned an RX8 briefly about 10years ago and have always had a soft spot for them and rotary's in general. I spend my time between Madeira where my business is and here in Oxford.
Two colleagues and myself recently decided to take on a new car project after our previous one was sold.
The first preference was a AJ30 transplant into an MX5 but I really wanted to do the transplant into an RX8. We were very lucky to have full CAD files of the RX8 and using this we knew the transplant would fit. I also managed to secure a straight and rust free shell off a kind member on the RX8 forum so we can now get on with it. The engine is being rebuilt to produce around 300hp and other parts are being machined and sourced.
Now this is where something strange happened which maybe someone on here can help with please.
I was originally going to share the build details on the RX8 forum. However for some reason I find myself banned without reason.
The only thing I can think of was my in my last post I happened to mention that I had witnessed some very poor/dangerous driving of someone in an RX8 at Castle Coomb who went on too crash. Now maybe I offended someone by stating this although it was there for all present to see so not sure. I have emailed the administrator and had no reply so if anyone on here can through light on this I would be grateful. If not it's not a problem as now I have found this site I will share here.

Welcome Steve.
The oem techical manuals for the rx8 are all on here free under the rx8 section if you have not got them.
Ref crash at combe no idea tbh.

We look forward to a new build thread and there's lots of good guys on here who will always try and help if possible.

    How time goes by so quickly.
Due to Covid both business and pleasure all put on hold.
The AJ 6 into RX8 has gone nowhere at present. Dale who is the brains behind all our conversations is not well at present but his usual humour is there.
