Do we have any definitive info on using E5/E10 Petrol?

I've been using it on my 13B-MSP MX5 and i've seen 30-40 miles less out of tank

Just stick to super thats staying e5. You get more bang for your buck.

Because of the RX-4 I have kept an eye on this petrol situation for a while.

I replaced all my rubber fuel lines after hearing the new petrol eats old fashioned lines.
Also last weekend I changed to the same fuel I use in the race car, Shell Optimax.

Another problem is the fuel is hydroscopic so you end up with water in your fuel tank so any metal tank will rust from the inside out so any pre RX-8 could have issues!

Allegedly we have two years left of normal high octane fuel before that gets changed as well.
Hopefully just like when lead was taken out, someone will come up with an additive so the fuel wont contaminate old cars

Thanks for info guys, so are we saying it is safe to use E10 in a 13b mechanically speaking? The downside being less MPG, degraded fuel lines and rusty tanks? So the general opinion is to stay with E5?
