Rorarys hate detonation. Usually rotors takes that hit and causes them to dent. Then they drop compression

Did you manage to find a plate? There's not many around on ebay, in fact I don't think iv seen one at all.

You might be best giving some of the rotary garages a call as they tend hoard parts for collecting dust, decoration and reminiscing

Definitely detonation if you look at the rotor housing in that same area on the Chrome rubbing face that the apex seal runs on you will see where the apex seal has been literally hammering the surface from det. Just above the trailing spark plug hole near where the dowell is located
