I will show you a picture in a couple of weeks with the exhaust back on.

100% you never use a screamer pipe on track because when the wastegate opens it makes the same noise as a car without a silencer i.e. Very Loud

I take it it's plumbed back into the exhaust system then ?
I did wonder how you'd have got by noise meters

Yes plumbed back in, about half way down the car.

Most people plumb them back in almost immediately but I remember on James Wildays long gone 800 BHP drag car, an 40 extra BHP was found just by plumbing the boost pipe further down the car.

I have seen some RX7 where they connect right at the back
Then I I need to factor in wastgate , engineering and cost of pipe etc

Donor car is back in

Still not sure to do about the turbo

Wait for the 8474 another 8 weeks or get the 8374 which is in stock
Really not sure
I'm meantime need to sort the intercooler out - V mount
I have enough room for 500 wide - 300 deep so thinking at least 85 mm thickness or more
Is there a capacity guide I should be looking for ?

Not really
I can borrow Pete's turbo to push on with the manifold alterations
Probabaly going to get the Engines stripped down just to check they are all good before I fit it properly ....../
Got loads to do to it
Need to push on in an orderly fashion
Air cooling
Water system
Fuel system
Wiring
And probably loads more
Would like to see it turning over this year if not running

If you can borrow a turbo then do that and wait for the turbo you want or you will regret not getting it.

I kind of wish I had got a bigger turbo years ago when I bought mine but at the time I didn't know as much, even though I only know a little bit more now than I did then.

Fun fact,, I found out the other day that a lad that drag raced an rx7 was putting down 1100hp to the hubs with a 90mm turbo... So I know what I need to achieve close to that now etc

Yeh I know. Still well away from needing another turbo. I should be spending money on bits I need right now lol. I bought those plates and rotors when I should have realistically bought some suspension or a roll cage with that money or the other 6 injectors I need lol
