The Rotus...
... coming soon to the family.... the Rotang

Mr Spiller

Took these out and lost 6.5 kg
Try and get 5-10 kg off the belly next

Then cleaned the rotors

Ordered some replacements rotors as the small cracks are growing and we could hear them cracking when it was in the garage in Anglesey

Second answer ............

Sorry for the continued delays with this order. Borg Warner have given us an estimated date, but it's April Do you want to continue with the order, or cancel it?

Hell of a shock
I did go for the 8474 which was an improved version of the 8374
Might have to start looking whether to stick with an 8374 if that got a better lead time
Turbo guru's please speak up now

All new turbos outperform the twin turbos in every way shape and form, boost response, spool, hp heat management etc

Why would someone accept an order of a turbo but not be able to fulfil said order if they don't have the stock?! Quite honestly bad business.

If you had your mind set on the newer version of that turbo then stick too it as deep down you will have regretted not getting it.

Have you tried elsewhere to get ahold of one? I know AET turbos sell EFR stuff but maybe more expensive? However you won't have to worry too much about delivery costs or import duty?

It did say awaiting stock
They said 4-6 weeks however things do change a s many others are suffering the same .
I'm just a tad worried if I do go the Cosmo engine that the 8474 maybe better suited
.
Need to get them both stripped down amd have a good look at the ports on both engines

I think what you will find with using cosmo plates is that they will make more hp easier, probably with less boost because you have a lot more volume of air available, providing your cooling the boosted air adequately to increase the air density.

You can always change the rear housing on the turbo to get better top end providing you wouldn't be over spinning the turbo shaft speed.

If you put down 600 rwhp with that turbo on either engine eventually it will be a rocket ship. Providing its not a lard arse
