Send me a photo of the full mechanism so I don’t get them mixed up

Chaps it’s just the bracket that’s snapped I’ll tig it back together

Shame I snapped the bolt going into the bottom wishbone too.

I’ll drill the bolt out the wishbone and tig the bracket back up lol

Someone has had a go at welding it before, there’s bits of welding wire on the back like a spider has been there and left his legs behind

Got that sucker off tho.

If the spare works I’ll strip this one apart Clive style n have a play making a non powered power steering rack

Shoot I got that already lol

I mean take the innards out.

Wonder how much nicer it is without all the magnets n windings fighting against you.

Doubt I’m gonna need power steering in the rotus

I’ll have an option for either, I got 3 racks in total to play with

So 3 evenings on the 8 and I have fully functioning power steering, fully functioning levelling headlights and fixed the electric Windows ( just a fuse) but the drivers side worked.

This car is possessed !

Get the tracking done as the steering wheel is slightly off

Gonna play on dissecting the old rack and kill that worm

Clive, do you know the name of the tool with 4 prongs that gets this out

I’m trying with a modified angle grinder spanner but it’s made of cheese

Tried heat

I’m assuming it’s a righty tighty lefty loosey thread
