Mazda MX 30: Rotary Powered EV

Just announced at the Tokyo show , maybe not the Rotary we crave but it means it still lives on, I have said when at Mazda HQ for the last few years that sadly I felt that the rotary would only come back this way and they would never comment!.

It's not a bad nod towards the future, I like the cloth interior, and love the cork. The suicide doors is a nice touch.

The black plastic arches is all a bit Audi allroadish.

We can't all like the same thing.

I just saw article that one reporter had chatted with Mazda boss. Boss said that they would really want to do Rotary, but they are "affraid peoples reactions". They know that community wants them, but they are not sure if these kinds of sport cars have any market left... Also emissions and all that crap..
