I bought an obp one, floor mounted, cockpit cylinders. I.e point back at the driver, not bulkhead ones. It's a nice bit kit. I thought they were decent price compared to stuff like tilton.

The obp website was a bit yampy last time I went on it looks like they only deal through suppliers not available to public.

Just jumping in the bath, I'll take a closer peek in a bit

Have just been checking if the starter motor I have work but it appears not fully. The starter is spinning but the solenoid isn't pushing the starter out.

Swapped a solenoid over from an FC starter I have, which spins and pushes out the  gear to the fd starter and it still won't push the gear out.

New one son ebay for 100 quid I think or shall I get mine reconditioned

Always Smallest bore  on the  front

75 on rear

70 on clutch

I'll check mine when I get home on the clutch and rear brakes. I have the same sizes

By putting the smallest bore on the front gives you a natural bias towards the front brakes.

Im 17stone, if I stood on your chest in my workboots, it would be uncomfortable but you could probably cope. If I wore stilletoes ( no ideas) the heel would puncture a hole in your chest

Same force going down (17 stone x 9.81 m/s i.e. gravity) over a much smaller surface area of the heel means for force per mm^2

Same principle for your brakes. When you press the brake and both cylinders have fluid in, the smaller bore which goes to the front will travel further for the movement in the pedal, so naturally biased towards the front.

You can fine tune this by adjusting the bias bar, but there will always be more braking on the front by default.

Hope this helps.

Im sure i had 0.65", 0.7" and 0.75"

Like i said lemme check when i get home, Ill drop you a message at 5pm ish tonight

Ah OK, I understand. New the smaller one would be for the brakes but wasn't sure on if it would be for the fronts or rears.

I got some brake lines with the kit but don't think I need them as can mount the reservoirs straight onto the master cylinders by the looks of it.

You're probably right but it may be a pig to fill them up so low down.

I dunno if the threads are the same I can't remember

Thays a good point, need to be highter than the brakes and clutch to help bleed them etc

Once I get it assembled and in the car I can look where to mount them as I have loads of room under there now, and there's the dash bar

I'm really happy with it, looka the part and the throttle linkage is great too and springs back nice and smooth

Hi grant,

To confirm

0.625" on the front
0.7" on the rear
0.75" on the clutch.

You may have slightly different sizes, just make sure small on front. You'll be fine .
