After four years off the road I am finally ot around to putting my black fc TII back together, I popped the engine on a track day at croft. So today I found a few hours to get the freshly rebuilt engine back in the car. Still a lot to do differential to sort out and get back in the car, electric water pump to fit and relocate the alternator. Here's a pic with the engine in, I had a little help off my girlfriend, she was on the hoist doing a fine job.

I haven't been without a rotary,  I have an RX8 and the track monster fc, but the track car is going through some changes itself its been completely rewired, had all the body work sorted and been repainted, and a new ECU,  I will post some pics when I get it back together.

Hi Jim,
I'm ok thanks. Great to hear your making progress. Have a look in the introduce yourself section, I've put a few pictures on the TVR in.

Are you still track day in ?

lennycarloff

After a few teething problems my fc lives and she got an MOT yesterday so I need to put some miles on and then get booked in for a tune, I have some little things to sort  but it drives alright, one of my first jobs is to give her a wash.

Nice one Jim. Do you fancy coming round and getting mine ready fro the road again once you are done?

P.S. 4 years is nothing I think mine is nearer 6 years!
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Mine still needs some bits doing, I am fairly sure my manifold has some little cracks in it, so getting a better one and get it ceramic coated. Then in for a tune. And a full respray needed. But it so good to be back on the road. What does yours need to get back on the road.

Well with the lock down I've had a bit of time to work on my car's. With my black rx7 up and running waiting for a tune. I've had chance to have a look at my rx7 race car, after a year or so and a lot of hassle with the ECU I finally got it started, so after finishing off a few bits I can get it in for tune, it's been so much grief and hassle I am made up.
