Will look better fitted in the chassis, just waiting on injectors and exhaust manifold to come back

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Gearbox hooked up last night, that was a pig.
Clutch alignment tool was too small in diameter. There's splines on the clutch plate and splines on the tool, but when you push it in you can rotate independently of the plate.

As a result the plate wasn't 100% concentric.

2 hours later after calling it all the names under the sun. Clutch cover plate off, lined it up by eye and the torch on my phone, clunk...... in. Ffs!

Injectors turned up today having had them serviced and cleaned and tested.

Can fit them, the engine harness, upper manifold and oil filler neck.

As soon as the exhaust is back from zircotec I'll bolt that on, the last engine mount then chuck it in the chassis, then body back on

Done plenty of research on t interweb.

Bryce from kindig customs who is one of the best custom places going in my opinion wrote an article to say providing the engine is oil free, clean, and been prepped properly, normal 2k automotive paint is fine.... That's all they use.

Been on plenty of forums, they all say they painted in normal paint without any issues.

I'm thinking give it a whirl, what's the worst that can happen? It will burn off?

If it gets so hot to burn paint then I don't hold out much hope for the clear omp oil lines that sit on the block. Or the wiring harness that pretty much does the same. And all that upper intake that's also trapping the hot air in that local area.

To conclude..... I'm not concerned lol
