I've used a battery charger to remove rust from the inside of a motorcycle petrol tank before

I'm hoping the principle is the same

Looking fresh after a glass bead blast, etch primed and silver enamel.

Polybushed, just need to zinc plate the inner sleeves and bolts

Some days I doubt the route in which I took with the styling and lines of the rotus......

.... Then my confidence gets restored

So my first trial with my zinc plating kit with a gold passivate over the top.

Looks a bit straw coloured hmmmm dunno.

Suspension bolts are cooking for 2 hours at 200 degrees c to prevent hydrogen embrittlement. ...... allegedly

I just think that's postponing dinner being cooked

I found I had to leave parts in the gold passivated for a lot longer than the instructions to get a decent colour. Looks good though!

Yeah I did the bolts for about 2mins instead of 10-40 secs as per instructions.

It looks like strong wee

Somewhere in the middle I think.

Thankfully there all hidden and it's rust prevention that's all that required
