It's only lighter due to stripping it down to prep for paint.

It's the doors that kill an rx8 in weight as the rear form the b pillar.

Cage it to keep the torsional stiffness and do what clive did with grp doors.

If i can get this plastic pedalo down to 800kg I'll be happy, but I still keep fitting the car with creature comforts lol

Oh and the rx8 diff weighs the same as a submarine but you know that from messing with that rattle on your mounts or summat
