So the mod of the day ...

Heated throttle body, could easily delete the pipes if needed, won't hurt in this climate.

However I'll leave for now......

Anyway, the usual exit at the top is fine until you put a rubber hose on it, then when you close the bonnet the gel coat cracks **** my life !!!

Drill a new hole and chuck a fitting in and cap off the culprit. Job jobbed

Who done your roll cage Jamie ?

Me mate, got a hydraulic tube bender at home.

I built it mainly to stiffen up the structure between body and chassis and it's only a backbone chassis.

The A pillars may as well be made out of cardboard so I'll bond them to the roll cage eventually then wrap them
In vinyl so it looks presentable

I don't envy those people who have to fit a whole FIA cage and get it to pass scrutineering.

Esp if you choose a material that has to be TIG'd ....

Two hands in there, a torch, rods, and try and see the gap between the top of the tube and the roof.

Enough swearing on mine and it's only MIG'd together

It's a shame I wasted 90 mins staring at the ceiling. I could have come out here sooner and done something productive.

The neighbours may have phoned the cops and thought the shed getting robbed at that hour lol
