Finally headlight pockets in primer.

I can start prepping for taking this pattern off and mould making

Clive, I think weâ€™re on the same wavelength regarding the tint, but I was planning a different route.

The recessed area that you see above that the polycarbonate sits in was going to be painted satin black so it contrasts from the rest of the body colour

Yeah, thatâ€™s the pattern.

Finish sanding all the primer smooth, wax, gel coat then start laying more fibreglass round the outside.

Take all the mould panels, unbolt them. Take the pattern that Iâ€™ve spent 3 months on and throw it in the skip lol.

Bolt the mould back together. Wax, gel coat, lay up glass in the inside.

Demould and hopefully I have a majestic looking body panel that weighs bugger all

It kills me to throw the patterns away. So much work goes into them. But I donâ€™t have the room and theyâ€™re too fragile.

I keep all the moulds in case I prang the car I can make new panels

Well if someone else is stupid enough like me to carve up a perfectly good car, then yeah I could as a sideline.

I dun think Iâ€™ll be paying the mortgage anytime soon with the proceeds lol
