Goes well with the 4.1 diff. :) roads are deadly quiet at night with all this virus bollocks. Some sprinted driving took place last night

Excellent - enjoy  :13:

Paul, I saw your fuel pump  question over on RX8OC and if it were me, I would just give the pump a 12Volt feed and done with, the same as I had to when I had all the RX-8 wiring intact at the start of the race car project.

Also am I right in thinking that you fitted the RX-7 cwp in the MX-5 case, or did I miss somthing :-[
All the best Clive

Westy just ran 12v straight to pump too...no issues.

I agree, just jumper the ballast resistor or dump it all together. I did this for a while when I was checking for a fuel starvation issue and it didn't cause any issues.

Thanks guys. I'll look at doing a direct 12v feed, but will probably try the jumper first.
Seems a bit of a silly design really. When the high pressure relays kick in there's 3no relays supplying power at once from what I can work out. Fuel, circuit and EGI relays. Asking for trouble

It was a mx5 NC 4.1 crown wheel, not Rx7.

Paul_13

Jumper wire made.
Next job is to figure how to utilise the old mx5 fuse board and create a new 12v relay feed

Annoyingly the spoiler started to lift off of the 3m adhesive tape.
I've got some fischer adhesive which should be up for the job. Tiger seal is polyurethane,so is this stuff.

I thought it will pull the paint off the car first

Unless it's counterfeit stuff,I'm not impressed. To be fair, the spoiler isn't the easiest surface to grab on to. The spoiler has a recess of 3-4mm where the 3m tape is applied. The edge of the spoiler is curled over.
Sorry probably not making much sense, had quite  a lot of spiced rum. I tried to give up drinking but this current situation is driving me crazy.

Double it up ? I dunno

Run out now unfortunately. Either order thicker stuff or bond it. I can't pull the spoiler off the section which has stuck down
