Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Yep, thats the plan. Im trying to put all my effort, time and money to this car. No room for f**k ups!

I kind of like to do engines. Alone in garage,  some good music, just with my thoughts, all consentration to task at hand...

One thing that angers me tho, is that my garage is a frickin chaos!

Well, if you want to, make a engine loom/harness for me ;) I would need that...

These things are quite simple. That amount of stuff coing into engine is fustrating and conserning tho. Makes you think, "did I put it there, and in right way"...

Naah, this thing is going to blow up!

But yeah, confidence is needed, like all these kind of things. I dont have it either, but I choose to do it myself

I'm tempted by to have a go at a 192 renesis engine with the boys as a learning experience.

The we have an excuses to bu something odd to fit it in!

Yep, I highly recommend it. Renny engines are cheap way to learn about these things. And yes, then you can swap it to some weird car  :great:

A Renesis in a DAF perhaps if you can still find one on it's wheels. :)) :)) Transmission might be an issue though.  :dontknow:
Sadly no longer with us, RIP Ray, 9 Feb 2021

We did have plans to put one in a Triumph Spitfire a few years back, but the car was too far gone to really be economical to repair
Current thinking is some kind of VW Beetle (Kupla) based kit car.

Old Spitfire would be nice, I have thought that too...

They do adapter for Kupla gearbox for Rotary. Howerer,  would be difficult or even impossible to get road legal in here...
