Struggling to link on my phone and got a wookie on my lap.
Search youtube. Rx7 s5 diagnostic...49 sec clip..gound green plug by battery..check engine light will flash morse code...if fault and look online for code...will stay solid if no codes.

so in a nut shell link battery neg to single green connector next to battery as shown in vids. turn ignition on, do not start car. check engine comes on and goes out.....No codes.... if it start flashing need to work out what number it is showing by reading the codes at bottom of guide.

That will take 10 mins max....video the flashes (if any) and post...i can work out what fault code.

No codes... Although my lights didnt light up like in that vid. Only these two lights...

Without the link in place do you see the engine check light? if not then the bulb must be blown?
Have you checked the wastegate actuator? It should be tightly shut not running..should not be able to move by hand.
