What this thing does? And whats that socket beside it?

Lähetetty minun E2303 laitteesta Tapatalkilla

The pressure sensor measures the altitude & adjust Air Flow etc....................the yellow/green/white connectors as far as I am aware are for testing individual components with a Mazda Code reader (I think it sends binary/beeps) to check component was working or not?
Current: RX7s   FB S3 & FC S5 Vert

Previously owned:  2 x NSU Ro 80 - 2 x RX7 FB S2 - Suzuki RE5 -Norton Commander - DKW W2000

So, got my first problems... Last week I noticed that boost gauge was "acting funny". Didnt go to higher boost, was boosting about half boost. Started to think when was the last time when I saw it go to max pressure...

Yesterday I did give some beans to it. Drove hard for a moment...

Today, I noticed that I wasnt getting basically any boost. Gauge shows that pressure hardly goes to +. Turbo spools nicely and sounds ok...

Boost leak? Broken Air bybass valve?

I dont remember previous time when I saw that pressure go to max.  So I think it has been boosting about 0.3 maybe week and a half, two weeks now. Isnt 0,6 bar max? Witch is top in that gauge....? So problem has been there for some time. Although I have been quite gentle with her...

I like that new Miata. But unfortunately that Fiat engine creeps the crap out of me... That previous gen with 2litre sport would be fun to try tho

Tryed to figure out boosting problems today. I think that this valve is ok...

But I think I hear weird hissing noise from this are. Maybe I'm wrong, dunno.

Didnt find any leaks and broken hoses. Howerer, I really start to believe that wastegate is stuck open...?

Ill start by saying i dont know nuffin about an fc but ill try n help.
1. Boost leak, what is your boost gauging displaying through the rev ? Any whoosing noises out air escaping...ideslly you need to remove and inspect checking for splits in hoses and jubilee clips tight not teeth stripped. Again intercooler good not holed anywhere....any black smoke...unburnt fuel out exhaust?.
2. Boost sensor? If a t2 has 1...check small pipe connected to it not holed...any other small pipes not connected...
3. Actuator...wastegate...get underneath and check actuator rod is connected to it and small hose ...if you can work it back and forth.
4. Exhaust blockage...has it a cat? Burnt out?
5. Boost soleniod ....where is it...check continuity of coil and  again little hose to it attached.
6. Bov blow off valve...that thing in your hand i beleive..when throttle shut after boost releases  air pressure...check it for splits etc and connections.
Ideally what happened boost then nothing or slowing noticed less power...what psi are you see?

Yes, much appriciated mate. But I'm sure that you know much, much, MUCH more than me

1: Boost raises some where at 3000-3500 rpm. It shows about 0,2-0,3 bar boost. Max is 0,6 im stock. For some reason I think it needs lots of load than normal to raise even to that 0,2...

Intercooler is good, almost like new. No black smoke at all. I think shes rumning abit rich when cold, other than that, no unburnt fuel...

2: I havent got time to see all those pics and graphics I have, illustrading those systems. So I dont know where every solenoid and thingies are
I tryed to see and look at every hose I could find. Everything seems to be good. Actually better than I thought for an old car...

3: Just came from my friends,  I was under the car. I checked actuator and all I could see. Lots of crap blocking view and coulndt get my hands to actuator properly. I couldnt move it was quite tight. But again, hose and stuff looked good...

4: That exhaust blockage I didnt think of. That actually could be one reason...

5: At this point, I have absolutely no idea where boost solenoid is

6: Dump valve seems to be ok. I did check it good, cause I thought it was broken. But I really think its ok, cause it doesent leak to wrong direction, and it wont open easily...
