Daft question but have you thought of using a pump to return the excess oil too the dump? I know some people use them on there turbos where a gravity drain to the sump isn't feasible

Yes mate...i got 1 suitable in ebay watching...it this fills up and dont drain back putting a pump in.

No it wouldnt but about 3k to go dry sump!

Obviously not saying get a dry sump lol, just never looked into these things. Drag cars don't suffer from this stuff as all oil goes backwards when going forwards lol straight too the oil pickup

I dont trust the oil pressure sensor in my westy...i dont think its reacting fast enough to warm me sucking air...i have another pressure sensor to plumb in to a  led red light....

well ive booked a trackday at Combe for the 5th of august for the rx7 ( 28th Westy) with the Mitsubishi Lancer Register.....and need me some pads for the AP 6 pots...as i dont like the feel of the EBC blue stuff....horrible shaking for 3 to 4 laps before settling in but my god looking at 200 to 300 quid for Ferrodo and Mintex....

should be fun playing with mega horsepower evos.....suspect my left indicator will be in use alot ha ha...
