Looking on ebay....these are coming up at as double throttle control?? I follow the lines from the actuators....
I was supposed to be a Combe but its cancelled. So thought id follow the actuator lines...my car has aftermarket coil pack over by the abs unit....im gonna look at the lines again!

doh!..NOPE aftermarket solenoid packs...std coils.

i want it fixed so i can go on track at Japfest! its still going to Carl to check the map and give it a once over. but ive spent ages reading stuff i went out to garage for a tidy up and before i knew it they where in my hands!...i have nothing to compare against but blowing though them there ropey. Ive changed hundreds over the years at work and they knackered tome.

My mates in the garage trade and its tough out there....hes actually got a a guy taking him to court....its all got out of hand...guy bought a 3 yr old van from auction with over 100k on it...it was never serviced from new and stretch the timing chain...long story short my mate serviced it but no end of trouble with fault codes and limp mode....bellend is taking my mate to court!

I have not sorted it yet....i need news 1 to prove it but this is the solenoid coil for the wastegate of the primary turbo....the way its acting with slight creep makes me positive but no cigar yet! Lol.

Im not so sure now....solenoid opens...opens wastegate or solenoid open closes wastegate?

Had a reread and you bleed air off to make more boost ie close wastegate ...theres a 7 psi spring and i read that if you plug line youll only get 7 psi and never transistion to 2nd turbo....de energised defo closed. Thing is feed from turbo out let 1 pipe then outlet goes up to solenoid that cycles on/off quickly and the hose returns to the actuator....theres a hole on actuator that bleeds air there... its complicated and crap system tbh...completely open control no feedback. So with a partialy block soleniod it should be struggling to make boost. Not too much....

The main wastegate has air and vacuum on it! Gave up trying to suss that....
