Aem on it at mo and typhoon in boot along with standard airbox. Ill be putting back in the standard airbox me thinks.

111000 miles....premix works though. Ive been right through history....no sign of rebuild. I reckon it also needs a fuel pump gonna test press tomoz.

BTW. Only two routes for RX-8 NA induction that works, stock air box with K+N panel filter or the full blown Racing Beat induction kit.

Btw Jon, lately I have been talking to dude in Aussie via Facebook. He have told me lots of good info about porting low power (and highpower too). Now I havea lots of info to think about. And some boost to continue my project.

But I think I have to start from scrach...

Dude actually has lowpower/S5 hybrid! Lowpowers plates with jports and semi pp with S5's housings

Mazda spent alot of time designing the stock inlet air system and most aftermarket systems are a tube and cone filter. You could say the std set up is tuned for the engine. Memory failing but air velocity and such like.

Running 192 car with no hot start issue 60k and above starting from Â£800.00. If you just drive it home would not need registering straight away and its got 4 doors so family car! You could pick up a duff engine and stick that in the boot for about Â£180.

Not sure im gonna be doing anything on new acquistion today had a MRI colour enhancing injection yesterday in my shoulder, lady said it might be sore next day......yep it is!
