Type X

Can anyone give me any info on the Type X, i have done a search but can\'t find any!

I know it has the red leather and a sunroof but what esle does it have to make it the Type X and not a Type R for example

You didnt look hard.  The thread right above yours is the model guide.  I have extracted the following for you though

Type x was fully loaded model leather seats in black or red, climate control a/c, sunroof, front foglamps,2+2, soft suspension, cruise control, 5sp manual + 4sp automatic, rear strut brace not sure if they had front, main cat only, sunroof, red leather seat models came with full red interior. bose hifi as standard. 4.1 final drive ratio diff 3.9 on auto
the type s is the cheapest model rx7 similar to type x but non of the frills and extras.

Not to be confused with the Touring X, which is something different again.

Cheers Dude, must have missed that one, so it\'s quite a good spec then? what about engine specs as some of them have different size intercoolers/oil coolers and stuff don\'t they?

Yup, but I really couldnt tell you whats got what.  Its normally quite hard to even tell what type a car is as so much of the stuff was an option anyway or changed over time.

Just had another read of the thread and it looks like it\'s got 255 BHP not too bad! how will this stack upto the 350ish BHP Skyline i just sold?
