Hi.

I had a gasket leak on one of my turbos so took it to a garage they replaced the gasket but now we I lift off from hard boost it pours out blue smoke from exhaust stinks of oil then clears. The mechanic didn't seem to know what he was doing  so was wondering if there is anything he could of done wrong to make this happen? Could he have put pipes on wrong? Car seems to boost fine and run well apart from that. Anyone had a similar issue? any information would be much appreciated

Where abouts do you live as I would get this looked at.

What could have happened if you had the turbos off is that he used too much gasket goo on the turbo drain pipes and this is backing up oil into the turbos,
Keep a close eye on your oil level while this is going on
All the best Clive

I had it when the turbo bearing had failed and the oil was pushing out on lift off.
