Hi guys. Can anyone enlighten me on a faulty turbo solenoid double control valve. I me the symptons of the part failing. been searching the net constantly and im having no luck. Sometimes i get full boost on the primary then 6-8 on the secondary. Then 6 on both. Im fresh out of ideas

Have you had a look through the robinette site and fd3s.net they are brilliant fault finding sites. If you mean the double throttle control solenoids I can't see that being your issue. I still think it's a wg control problem

have you had the UIM off and checked the vac lines on the solenoids? The diagrams are here and as Neil said on the rx7 club website. as its intermittent prob a split vac line.  First thing id be doing. Identity the pipes from the solenoids to actuators and check the pipes for splits and security.

Just got some silicone hose and ordered plenty of viton check valves. When the check valves come ill take the uim off and replace everything I can. Ive replace double control solenoids and still no difference. i have found one split pipe on what i think is some kind of sensor behind the uim near the fire wall. Have experianced some improvement but i suspect a dodgy check valve as it is boosting spot on then not. Keep reading through all the info but its hard to take everything in. Ill get there though.... hopefully
