Registering an Import FC

Hi all,

I\'m in the process of importing a 1992 FC from Japan and need advice from someone who has imported an FC/FD recently!

Basically, when it comes to registering the car (i have the import pack with all relevant documents etc) how do i fill in the tax section for getting the lower annual tax rate? Is this still doable? If not, how much for 12 months?

Any advice with this is greatly appreciated!

I've never done it, but you can try putting the engine size as 1308cc, however you might find that they're wise to this trick now days!

Doubt you'll be able to register this as 1308 litre. When I bought my FD back in 2004 which is also is an import when I got the V5 documents through it stated 2.6 Litre. Contested this to DVLA in writing but they said they now class Rx7's as 2.6 due to the emissions level it produces.
