231 SP install into mk3 mx5.

donor was immobilsed. injector plugs on wrong injectors. not doing start up routine...loose connection...leads dead.....

done in me! but it runs!

Both me and Matt nearly torched it a few times! Basic fault was car was immobilised. And this was not realised by guy doing conversion i think and then some added faults trying to fix afterwards 1 injector unplugged etc and rear housing was only 1 getting fuel. Still need to verify 100% that plugs are on right injectors for hi power and secondary.
The throttle response on fly by wire needs looking at further.

Didnt realise that this model mx5 nearly became rotary powered and shares same chassis platform as rx8.

This car has the 8 front subframe and engine fits perfect and gearbox lever sits in original position.  

theres still loads todo on it and i expect ill be involved again! Matt\'s offered me a go on track once done which is motivation enough!

taking shape bigtime and some lovelly racing beat parts on it!

Held 1 of Clives Ballastic race batterys ....unbelivable 500g?

Managed to splice the rear end lights and abs into the rx8 loom.

its running great...8hr endurance race looming lots todo!

ended up in my garage for a few electrical gremlins to sort!
