Clutch question - non-rotary

Hi there,
A friend has picked up a cheap Mk2 MR2, but the clutch needs replacing. Has anyone had one these cars, or worked on them? If so, any idea whether a clutch change is easy (within reason!), or whether it is an utter pain (e.g. engine out job)?

Which mr2? Not that it matters much...fairly straight forward.

Ta for the reply. Mk2, about a 91 or 92 I think. Just wanted to check, didn\'t want to end up having to contemplate a huge and complicated job!:Thumbs-up
