Unfortunately the triple I got had \'heart bypass operation after it\'.

Been home a couple of days and the only reason I’ve decided to post this at all is that if I can pass on the early warning signals that I was either too stupid, ignorant or just bloody minded to notice and someone else sees a pattern in what might be going on in their life and does something about it before I did. that would be great because the alternative â€" well………………………

So for six months or so woke up two or three times a week with a little ‘heaviness’ in my chest, about three house after eating â€" indigestion right, so took a couple of tablets, sometimes they worked sometimes it didn’t.
These events became more frequent so went to see the GP with indigestion.
She wasn’t so sure and gave me an ecg telling me to go back in a couple of days.
She said the ecg was ‘abnormal’ and wanted to do another one the following afternoon but I was to go to the hospital and have blood samples taken the next morning.
She said if I had chest pains that night to dial 999 â€" well I had the pains but still couldn’t get past it being indigestion. I had severe pain in my left shoulder which I now know was the signal to dial 999 â€" but I didn’t.
Had the blood taken the next morning and decided to stroll into A&E just to get the indigestion confirmed.
They are pretty sure I’ve had three ‘minor’ heart attacks in the last six months.
That will be two weeks ago Friday, came home yesterday three hospitals and a pretty gruelling operation later.
So please if any of the above makes you think, just think there could be something lurking within you
Go get it checked is all I ask and don’t be as blind to it as I was.

Oh my:( hope you make a healthy and speedy recovery

johnf

Thanks Grant

I sure there is no problems with the full recovery and I\'m amazed how well I fell after only six days.

The big downside it the twelve weeks to full recovery with no exertion, work etc.

Even six weeks before I can drive, glad I no longer have a rotary to miss.

I did notice last night that the forum deleted a few posts back too the previous night before so maybe that\'s where your post went?

If a mod deletes or removes a post it leaves a note saying post deleted etc

So no need for the language

So glad you got this sorted out before something more serious happened. Wishing you a speedy and straightforward recovery back to full health.

Glad you are back home now John, sorry to hear about this but hat\'s off to you for warning others about the potential warning signs. I think people are sometimes too brave to consider that something might be seriously wrong.

Hope you make a speedy recovery.
