P0661 intake manifold tuning valve ...google brought up another description ssv circuit low.....
Secondary shutter valve vacuum controlled via solenoid. Looks like like just a poor connection....but i think ive introduced this fault swapping parts as original fault was top end miss not this 7k wall.
So had a few things going on. Debris in injectors and then the poor solenoid connection....if the original PCM had generated this code would have got to it sooner.
Now needs a good long drive before where 100%. Ive done all the resets so time will tell.
Has tested the patients some what.

Jon, I've got great admiration for you sticking this one out. I know you nearly lost the faith with the S2000 thoughts, but all credit to you for getting to the bottom of the problem. I hope it will serve as an inspiration to all of us not to give in when problems occur. There will be a solution, just sometimes it's not easily apparent.

Couldnt give up wanna stick the s2000 engine in summit retro. Looking for an old silvia s12 or similiar.

I fully agree with Casey. I know you almost lose faith and hair, but got to admire your determination. Really dont understand how that problem got there. But the truth is that were is electricity there are problems

Sketchy details but very interesting.....theres that Rob Crighton (think thats right) superbike thats got a new rotary engine i think tied in somehow with Norton....wonder if this is the engine they have in mind?
Have to wait and see.
