There blacker than the other day.....just throwing this out there....higher oil pressure.....means more oil injected by omp? Oil level dropped a bit but sump is huge compared std ......when does the omp inject....im clutching at straws....ive seen 110 psi oil pressue.

Black plugs is massive over fuel. The misfire is happening around the area where the bridge ports on a renisis open so it has to be that IMO ?? More airflow demands more fuel from the ecu. Have you thought to put the ecu in and rx8 and reset it there? As in your car you have changed so much from stock it may not reset in your car?

It was missing from moment spare went in. Ive brake stomped it battery off which in my car is off...maybe a gentle extended drive cycle to detune?

Yep, just think how much low load tuning the ecu gets when you have to do 1,000 mile run in and then do the porting run in. Mine still sometimes is a little hesitant depending on the weather etc

I have noticed that my car is way more powerful when there's moisture in the air.

So its running rich. Wtf? Cant be intake leak then...

Omp is working thru rev range. Is it? Cant imagine that oil pressure in there would cause that. Besides, ecu should notice that too and amount of oil injected is so small...

Im open to all ideas and going for a drive is easier than finding a component left unchanged lol...sparks are blacker than the other day and prob only done 40 miles....what is the porting running in?

Dont think oil press now just clutching at straws....miss was there from begining its just more pronouced now as was waiting for sump and reg to go on.....
No leaks....tested everything.

3rd gear increase rev gradually until
Max revs reached and WOT. Same again in 4th from low rpms. Then do it in lower gears

Thing is i have no room fuse and if i pull pos terminal off which i have done...ecu is totally dead and reset?

where you get the coils from the only D585 coils I would use are from BHR not the uk version I not saying theres anything wrong with the uk ones just it seems that theres more complaints about misfiring or loss of power when there fitted,  have you checked the wiring loom from the crank sensor to the ECU, could one of your ignition leads be faulty, bad earth you probably checked most of this could you try to fit you old coils back on see if you get any other results, I have a almost the same problem. good luck mate I be checking mine out next week.

I do my ECU restarts by disconnecting the battery terminal and reconnecting after 12 hours the ECU goes into a limp mode I then just start from the key/start button NO touching the throttle (the throttle will rise and fall and start a fresh learn) for 30 mins the ECU will relearn, switch off rest for 5 mins switch back on the ECU/engine should then Idle reset windows ,DSC, traction control, etc (don't think you have to do this part) then take it for a drive it should learn and reset,

These are very new and from a very reputable source ( MRP )  did not mis on old engine. ive resitance checked the magnecor leads alll good new sparks, new engine loom spare e shaft sensor....ive got a new non gen coil on front housing trailing as for a reason unknown my digi dash wont pick up the revs...tried a spare gen coil on that....ive verified every coil sparking. I will try my used spare set tomoz its very very strange.
the miss has been there since the spare went in but it was good when pulled out.....i did empty 2 cans of pentrating oil in the sparky holes when it was layed up and turn it religously.
