Hi Casey,

Yes have used them on a Integra..very good tyre....what im after is to try and get to the front...lol. Despite only 1 dnf under my belt i want to give the engine the tyres it deserves.
The Avon motorsport man said saloon car tyres are not suitable inc the 888\'s.. need specific compounds sidewall stiffness etc to make a westfield fly..

simply put i got have what the guys at the front are running! Cant help it,its in my DNA!

Been measuring and neighbour has a dax rush kit car so im gonna offer 1 of his wheels up...should be able to sell 2 set of my 15" to get a set 1 set of 13" with slicks.

Car wise been nut n bolt checking and all good...engine clean number 2 and measuring up for my 2nd oil cooler.
Brake wear etc looks very good as does tyre wear with this yet unchecked geo.

Back to tyres.....i got to have em....seems bonkers to do all this work and handicap myself with a compromise...looks to be Â£800.00 for a set todo the season, hardly drink and dont smoke so fully justified in my eyes....ill square it with the mrs Boosted later.:p:Giggle

13 inch wheel didnt clear caliper....discs are 280mm....so looks like so new caliper mounts and 265mm discs.:Hammer

Forgetting about wheels n tyres for a mo doing my head in. so cracking on with a oil cooling upgrade...putting another cooler in for a fix and forget solution.

Going in the side with a duct from the old exhaust hole to give it a purpose!

Aeroquip hoses are the cats whiskers. amazing no clips push on....job done.

Big shout out for Merlin Motorsport...not the cheapest but have been a great help...stick a load of oil bits on the counter, discuss your requirements, subtly put you right and leave shop with all the bits required todo the job properly first time. Gave me extra fittings 90 and 45 deg which i can take back no problem.

Well we may have an issue....been out for a bumble about to check my new oil cooler install and appears we have an oil leak on exhaust side/top of engine....it must be misting or something because its a thin film everywhere! that results in some minor drips on engine tray...letting it all cool and uim coming off....hoping an oil meter injector or something...or just oil in the system from the surge....however there is an impact spot on bonnet above rear housing so something is leaking...

letting it all cool before starting as already burnt my leg on headers today!

if anybody\'s had a similar issue pls shout

Well strip uim all off...all hoses...check oil injectors etc...cleaned and put back together....went for 45 min hoon and level bang on no leak...wierd....so 3rd clean fingers x. Residue oil in breather etc?

Oil temp issue....nailed . 2nd mocal cooler doing the business.

must remember to take my rotary paranoia tablets tomoz.
