Good job mate!!! :) Most important thing is that you had fun. And nothing blew up ;)

I´m sure that Westory has massive potential. :)

But you did one mistake...
You did share enough videos!!! ;) In-car would be awesome

Yes sorry about the vids....in the regs it states publishing vids is not allowed without permission and carries a £500.00 for breach so dont wanna be caught on you tube for that!

Oil splat would have been cool vid !

far few things todo on car but gonna have a few days off and a get a few jobs around the house done as a thankyou to the misses as shes been really great and supportive. Its been a hectic 6 months prepping the car and a few days off will be great.

plans afoot though to
1. revisit fuel system as needs 15 litres in car to prime up so pick up needs lowering.
2. installation of 2nd oil cooler in side panel as want a fix and forget solution oil temps got to 110 and was rising at lap 10.
3. wheels tyre selection....get on slicks and get the times down.
4. need a good check over of levels, prop bolts, diff etc sparks out etc check over in general.

26th next 1 !
thanks guys for your kind words and support keeps me motivated

it was a blast!

Avon Motorsport very helpful,,,,BUT need to go down to 13" wheels...he said people would sell me tyres in 15" but they wont as saloon car tyres and not right for my application with such low kerb weight...plus no compounds or sidewall stiffness for the kitcar range...need to find me some 13" wheels. Not sure gonna clear my front brakes...888\'s it is for time being then...

Jon, if you are using 888\'s, have you looked at the Federal 595RSR\'s? Not sure if they are available in the size you need, but they are a real bargain semi-slick for the RX-8 at ~£90-£100/corner for 235/40R18. Loads of us have used them on track (and road) and they well suit the RX-8.
