LOL

But you had fun, right? That is most important thing :)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

The pic on ebay didnt have all the holes init!  I had glands but m30 and m25. The size is a compromise as well. Theres room in there for my wallet and phone. Ive sealed entry points with a little tigerseal. Should keep the water out. Plan to do 200 miles today in 2 stints.

Btw, when you can hit full throttle with it? :) And dyno?

Got about 300 miles to do at 4000 rpm. Then swap out the running in oil. Then i\'m gonna do max 7000 for another 100 miles then full beans. I have a trackday this saturday and will swap out the oil at the track if i don\'t get the mileage done this week.
Have no real plans to dyno it, local dyno has bad reputation, always gives low readings and 1 piddly fan, plus i found them rude and after 15 emails i never got my last dyno printout.....and i really dont want to put my car through the stress of full power runs without adequate airflow.
In fact i very much doubt ill dyno it.

You need to dyno it. It can tell you much more than just how many ponies you have

Been out again....spent a fortune on fuel this weekend. Total is 320 now!....Need to do some research got a p0000 fault????!!! wierd! and my diff is whining bigtime. quiet on load but whining like hell coasting on motorway. I know very little about diffs i know its a plated 4.1 and its got fresh millers motorsport oil in there...

Car all so seems to learn idle every time i start up....i have a race battery isolator so ive left this on to seem if i keep resetting ecu.

have you had the diff rebuilt? could quite possibly need the backlash setting on it correctly, its one the biggest killers of diffs.

its basically the gapping between the ring and pinion bits, too big of a gab and it will bang like mad and break, too little and it will be tight.

apart from filling with millers crx 90ls as recommended on trans x website nothing else! Been busy on the front end!

i have 2 probs

1. the axle is moving about 10 degress i can see play at the rear UJ rocking the car with the hand brake on. so must have a bush gone which i will look for tomorrow morning. But ill polybush the lot. Its a 5 link system.
2. Quite a loud whine from the diff itself offload. noise comes and goes ?

Strange but clunking not there before new rear uj went on. The new uJ is bigger so assuming the old 1 was supporting the axle.

rear end was fine on trackday last year...oh well! wallet time.

Do the bushes first, as it\'s a track car I would just make them solid.
