Are rx8 and FD flywheels the same?

Yep stock flywheel...was supposed to be lightweight but didnt happen.
Back killing again. Panels are a sod to get in.

You need a light weight flywheel, will rev much quicker:) PITA to set off though

sat in passenger side relocating fire extinguisher and battery not a lot of room for feet ! but doable.

redone some of the lug crimps properly....looks like someone used side cutters...infact only thing holding cable in was heat shrink

drivers infill panel back in, not pretty but once a blown over will be ok. bloody sod getting rivet gun in to pop em.
1 legged passenger always welcome! Gotta be able to take passengers lots of fun!

Got loads of little finishing jobs done. need to get some more battery cable as alternator to fuse box not long enough so will be getting that tomoz.
Had a good tidy of garage as have not cleared up since started taken apart and after i went arse over :censored::censored::censored: decided to have an interim tidy.

Needed some battery cable. Local auto electrical place wanted me to arm a 3rd world country for 3m of cable so used the cable from my heavy duty jump leads ha. Will buy some more later clamps where getting tired. Still tidying wiring...being open top needs waterproofing. Gotta wait for my mate to get up from nights having issues with pass infill panel. Hes a sheet metal worker...needs some more alloy sheet.

Lunchtime update. Power connections all finished at fuse box 2 lugs wont fit on positive terminal so had some fun and games ....all good my mates on his way in an hour so hopefully will make a template and he can go and cut me a piece to slot in. its a mare so prob 2 pieces.
No photos same old junk! lots of finishing and tidying want the car ready before the fun of putting ancillaries onto engine and installing. This is the boring bit, hoovering up swarf and degreasing, killing time on little jobs really till i get this panel in.
Ding! chicken and bacon pie! Not gonna burn my mouth today!

Very productive day pushed on a bit to try and stay on schedule.
Tunnel infill panel back in, mate was hanging from night shift so i had to adapt old 1. Tigerseal all joints. Cable for starter and alternator glanded on front panel.

Fire extinguisher repositioned, battery repositioned, Ended up doing new power cables.

quick test of digi dash all good. Rain light horn etc...indicators work as well.

Trying to raise a mate to help me get box in...need to guide the prop in. Had 3 goes on my own. Summit gonna break....my back. Tryed to man up but after 3 goes risk tearing the oil seal. Postie refused H&S lol...only need the shaft guideing in.
