Oil level good...coolant good pushed about 500ml out. Coolant alarm came on 98 degC which is safe reviewed vid all happened at same time. Like hitting wall on overtake. Needs pulling and stripping.

Hit rev limit once....has spent most of its time in the upper rev area....hey ho......it will be fixed....im gonna pull engine tomoz. Off to edit my vid....its upside down and a george clooney lookie likey silver fox is working on his car at the end lol.

Be Interesting to know what caused it. Bearings normally junk when they're not lubed

Yeah. Engine prob done 2500 miles max...digi dash set up to alarm oil pressure 2 stage below 20 and 10 psi so effectively on first stage at tickover which is 20 psi...that way would see surge/starvation in the sump....never seen in come on!. Need to research bit more on bypass pellet read about on rb site.

Had some motor bikes in my day but gave up riding for safety reasons...comparable with a 600cc sports bike. For some reason vid uploaded 360p so doing again in 1080p. promise have not speeded up. end of long straight pulling 8k in 4th. 4th is taller gear than 2nd &3rd those to rev out real quick.

No Jarno.....speaking with Ian and Clive people with a lot more internal engine knowledge than my highly suspect its the rear stationary bearing....noise was pretty intense clanking metal banging....actually sounded like prop hitting tunnel coming down the run off pitlane. But noise reverberating down car. Engine needs to come out and be stripped to see whats what. Does not sound like when my fd detonated the rear apex seals! It wont be ran again. Cash wise where ok but prob means the s type gonna have to go and the blue 1. Was gonna go to Pembrey with it next month.

Engine will be out in 30 mins....question is what do i do then in unchartered waters......flywheel off.....looking for end float? Oil glittery but not that bad tbh.

Yeh I have found that the is seems to be the best gear for driving around quickly, or as quick as I can at 4,000 rpm but then 4th drops it a lot. I sure as hell wouldn't want to drive around with a 4.7 diff in the rx8! Be very annoying.

My gear box feels very snappy, is that normal?
