Due to the weight no need for uprated clutch just an oem exedy...mine was new oem been faultless...
Lightweight flywheel will help it rev but again with no weight to pull tiny gains save the money for the Bridgeporting...
Gearbox...Clive runs a 5 speed i run a 6 speed..i never use 6th on track....i find the ratios spot on..but on track 345 only used.
Pulls from 5500 to 9200 big power band. Tempted to try a 5speed but i got a spare 6 speed and i gotta pull engine to change as showhorned in tunnel...so staying as is atmo.
Defo go Bridge in a lightweight car the difference is very noticeable...bhp per tonne etc.

Gated sump was Â£550... im sure you could make something for less...
Rx8performance in the states.
Uprated oil pressure reg need to be on list.

Jon, what are the 4 blue anodised bolts on the underside of your gated sump for ?

Scrapping on speed bumps lol...
They are access holes to allow a t bar to go up inside to get to the internal caphead sump bolts...as if you look there is a chamber on that side...bliminin fiddly fitting and if cap head falls of end of t bar starting then drop it down for another go.

Id weld 4 aluminium tubes up against the mounting flange and exposed on the underside.

Basically if you looked inside, it would look like 4 pillars..... saves you taking it all off if you drop one.

Sounds like a nice challenge when the engine comes out
