Yes always obvious in the end ....strange thing is these where changed and checked...and fuel line purged with fuel to flush.
The rx8 engine knowledge has increased....had all them valves and ports apart lol.
Tested the patience some what !

Grant cant see it bud....had no misfire til spare went in and bridgeport running great till horrible noise.

I dont know mate....wondering if spare pump has broke up inside? Rx8s prime put on 2nd click of ignition to 4 bar....currently taking 3 turns to 2 nd click to prime....if i dont pre prime it takes 2 to 3 secs to catch as building fuel pressure. Maybe has a check valve in pump or body....this is hard rubber....

All getting new set up anyway. Not sure what yet. Have not got a lot of room so prob fpr in engine bay and return to tank. Dont think i need a swirl pot but will see.

Well been out again and all seems good....its FORGE ACTION Day at combe SAT and theres track sessions left.......those days are crazy though so many on track lots of bangers and newbies and no enforcement of rules whatsoever so unsure i wanna risk it

. would be good for a sess or 2 to see if all good at top end.

Nah! too chicken ill take car up there for a run, see what the track etiquette is like can always get a session on day.....usual carnage i use to love in the colt.

Well i went to Forge Action Day albeit got there at 4pm see below

....The putts and Mahood Usar where there massive silencers on the cars restricting the power somewhat as not circulating at warp speed. Normal action day carnage....track side repairs with cars hurtling past, overtakes on corners , 40 plus cars on track, over/ undertaking on corners and no marshals.....NO Thanks ! good fun to watch however and the drifting was spectacular.

anyways misfire back yippee not as bad as before but defo holding back and not revving out clean.....need me some injectors but not at ebay prices. Filter is clear so simply swapping in some others should be it.

also in process of raising engine, engine mount thread has picked up so a new set are on order.

and a flooded dining room.......no chance of Bylton for me.

Just checked and Blyton Park is now fully booked

- shame you can't make it, would've loved to see how your car performed there. They'll be another opportunity I'm sure

Ive just finished stripping everything down in anticipation of parts....was maybe thinking if back together driving up on day but pie in sky at mo.....found some more crud in an injector but filter clear . ...I reckon check valve has broke up in side as wont hold fuel line pressure this has worked its way through....maybe....happy none in filter new inj and engine mount and few track days please.........

No good.....gone from slight misfire to massive wall of phhhwwww at 7000 rpm....mahoosive misfire wont even rev out . Absolutely lovely to 7k and no codes.....
