"and this engine has 19psi oil pressure on idle warm! last engine only had 10psi..."

That is weird... I wonder why...? Anyhow, really nice to see her back in the road with brabber ;)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

yes was fun specially with the skinny T1r's on! on 6 til 6 nights for the weekend so misfire will have to wait til after weekend. Oil pressure ive swapped the oil coolers small front big side but cant see that making a difference happy to have more not less though!

( new word i made up) :P

Are you using the ecu from the bridge engine?

Have you reset it and gone through the procedure carl says to do? Incresing throttle lightly in 3rd until max revs etc???

boosted

I ve brake stomped. Code clears. Batt off. Driven steady it revs out clean but when i nail it getting misfire 6600 onwards....on off lots of bangs n flames...coil leads etc all from race engine so i know there good.....im just gonna swap the lot and see.....

I think I need to drive a stock rx8 to feel the difference to the BPorts as never drive one before mine. Carl says most likely too be making 230 HP. I will dyno my car ASAP as now I know how to stop the car effecting the power run. Simply remove the fuses for the abs esp traction control gubbings and do 3 power runs, the third will give the most accurate HP

This must be happening alot to cars on rollers ebd and traction control raining a cars performance in.

Yeh it is, it is the main cause to people getting low and crap numbers on the dyno. And probably a reason people are put off from buying rx8s too as they think they're slow.

Big discussion about it on rx8 club USA. Holding the esp button down for 10seconds doesn't work properly and you have to remember to do it after every run. Complete PITA IMO, simple easier and quicker to remove the fuses
