Does anyone know somewhere in the south east (near Crawley is good) that can set it up properly?  Camber, castor, corner weight etc.

Any idea on what should be paid?  (Andy, Dave - was this done on yours).

Whilst im here, im paranoid that once its set up its jut not going to be very good.  This concerns me that Ill have something done and just hate it :(

Any help appreciated.

I went to STS in Bedford so did Andyp

I was very pleased with the work, very thorough laser alignment and tracking etc, with us being asked what we were going to use the car for and it was set up accordingly

Cos there were two of us it was about £40-50 each I think

I know Ian had his done by a crowd down geffs way a while back; he gave them the street/strip settings from Racing Beat or Petitt or some one on a bit of paper and had them get it as close as possible to it. Bare in mind that I think depending on wear, ride height and car straightness(!) u may have problems getting it exactly as you want it...

Ian said it was like a totally different car - well pleased. Think it cost him some thing in the region of 50 sheets too.

I also went there (STS), asked for the default setup (I turned up with figures that were in degrees which he couldn\'t understand as their machine only worked in mm\'s(?)),

The guy didn\'t centre my steering wheel properly before starting and I only noticed when I was driving home (had to meet with someone so didn\'t have time to go back).

Can I simply undo the steering wheel and reposition it?

I got charged £90. Hmmmm.

Rich do you know the details of the place (guess I should just PM Ian really  ).

I know the petitt settings are on here, im just a little concerned about not liking it.  At the moment not set up at all left hand bends are just fantastic, but I cringe at the though of having to turn to the right lol.  I guess its not bad, its just not like turning left.

Lee, you could always stick to drift circuits with only left hand turns! :rollin  (Works for Nascar and Cart)

Or you could ask the guys setting it up to mirror the settings on the left side for the right? just a thought....

I need drift tracks with right hand turns to steer left ;)

Im not sure getting it set up so the right side mirrors the left is the way to do it - ill probably end up with a mess like that!

I actually have my own setting in mind, but if it sucks then that would be really bad so im not sure I want to risk it but then I have the same feeling about anything!

I suppose WGT os a bit far off for ya Lee ;)  Pip did a set-up for me and it was pretty cheap (not sure how much though as it was done with the de-cat and mapping, probably somewhere in the 50-75 mark.

I\'m after getting a new suspension set-up and want something that I can adjust from stock(ish) ahrdness all the way over to rock-hard for track work... any suggestions?

I\'m sure mouldy will give you the details of the guys he used later, I imagine it was his side of Portsmouth though which is probably miles from you. I\'d just have a go with the nearest laser alignment place and see what happens...

Go with the pettit setup and see how it feels. Then drift it-up as required in order to show off your drifting prowess ;-)
