Thumbs up fpr Houghton Insurance

Been with them for 1 year now, was £1200. (standard performance 3rd gen RS \'96, 25yrs old, 5yrs no claims, alarm/imobilliser/tracker/garaged, lots of styling mods, 6000 limited mileage).

Was expecting the premium to go down this year (26 yrs old, 6 yrs no claims), but it went up by £40

There were 3 things I could do to bring my insurance down..

1) Age.
2) Move so I don\'t have a Luton postcode.
3) Do less miles.

As I have done less than 4000 this year I opted for their 4500 mile limit, and this drops my premium to.....

£800

I\'m a happy bunny!  Â£400 saved  That will no doubt be invested back into the car anyway
