rx7 value? 40k miles 1 owner, sat for 6yrs...

Hi All,

I am seeing if anyone is interested in my friends car - He is Ex RAF pilot and had the car since new. It has been sat for 6 years with the clutch waiting replacement and hasn\'t really been started due to him being posted around the world, although when it was last driven it had no issues.

White, 1998 FD, Manual Twin Turbo, Only after market part are some dumpvalves. 40K miles on clock. I believe it is a Jap import, although it was imported from New. Waiting a new clutch, but body has no rust etc.

I really want to take it off his hands andget it back on the road but money is a bit tight, what would the going rate for one of these be do you reckon?  I am finding hard to put a price on it in its current condition.  If I don\'t restore it then I will probably take it off his hands to sell to someone to do themselves as it is just sitting there currently!

Needs a compression test as a starting point to show engine condition and pics would be good to gain interest :yes

Pics will be soon, I have to get it brought back from spain as he was posted there for a few yeas, although it is still registered in the UK.

Best bet is to Ebay auction the car with pictures and as much information as possible :Thumbs-up
