Quote from: clive;853581Special thanks must go to Kees who came all the way over from the Netherlands with his brand new Mazda 6 “rotary”.

Well he told me it was Rotary, maybe, just maybe, he was not telling me the truth and it was piston powered after all  :Hammer:eek::rollin:rollin

Clive after all it wasn\'t a Rotary, I just wanted to park as close to the entrance as possible, but maybe some day a 16X would fit.
We all enjoyed, despite the weather, the various rotarys, and of course the new bus museum. We hope some of you can make it, to visit our Rotarystockevent on the 7th of July. Clive and Lisa visited us back in 2011.

Did have a good trip back to Holland with lots of showers. Will see most of you at some event, usually Santa Pod.

Regards,

Kees

You could easily get a couple of rotors in the boot :Giggle

Hi all, thanks to Lisa and Clive for another great show as the start of the season.
Pity about the weather, but as usual there is always something to do and see at this venue.
Great to meet up with you all and welcome to the new attendees.

Hi everyone.

I am completely new here but I attended the show at Brooklands (in the silver RX-8) and just wanted to thank the organisers and share with you all a couple of photos I took. I only bought my car two weeks ago, and coming from the Classic Mini scene, it was great to see the sorts of cars you get in Rotary circles. The weather could have been better, but it didn\'t ruin the day. We had a great time.

I hope you like the photos!

Quote from: Brett;853777So my subtle exit off site was wasted? :p

Wasn\'t wasted, we did hear it near Mercedes world. No SLR couldn\'t match that sound!!:Laugh

As this years date was so hard to get, I thought we had lost this wonderful venue where we have been the only Japanese Club allowed to hold an event, but I have told Brooklands that next year we will host the event as a "Mazda Day" rather than just for our Rotarys.

This is because I am very conscious that Brooklands needs people through the gates to survive, however this has resulted in MRC already being given a date for next year which will be an  easy one to remember June 1st 2014

Based on two other Mazda events please don\'t view this as a negative because you will find that our Rotarys will gain an awful lot of interest and you will be surprised how many normal Mazda enthusiasts have never seen many of our great cars in the flesh so this should be an excellent promotional event for Rotarys in general.

This means the Spring Rotorshow is dead but long live the Brooklands Mazda Day :cool
All the best Clive
