Ok cool, by no means was I calling you a keyboard warrior. T51 is not good for stock ports, was just using it as an example for a good second hand setup for a ported motor.

I do agree its a stretch but it could be done, if you install it all yourself that is.

All in it can get very expensive, but at only a 400 HP target it can be done with the gt35 like Carl originally said, but who will be happy with that, we always want more power..... Eventually.

Thanks for all the comments and info guys. I have thought about selling my one and buying one already done but I don\'t know how easy it would be to sell mine? Also is there any nice singles for sale just now? Preferably black or white? Only reason I wanted to go down the road of putting single on mine is because I\'ve ha the car for 5 years so I know what it\'s like and what\'s been done and I\'m just starting to get it looking the way I want it. I feel like I\'ve spent to much to go back now lol, but as you say another £7000-£10k is a lot more. I\'ve bought hks induction kit/stock mount intercooler/hks bov/power fc/Rota grids/sibon carbon wing/hsd coilovers/titanium exhaust and few other bits but that\'s all I can think of just now. Hmm Mabie I should have a go at selling?

That is the problem you may end up buying other peoples problems, you could keep the stock twins for now, all you need is either 4x850 or 1600 secondaries with a rail, fuel pressure reg and due to 95ron i would say water injection, you have the intercooler, 1.1 bar happy days. If this is not enough just but a single on it and your done as everything is in place.(maybe clutch if not uprated)

I really want the single just to get rid of the rats nest and get more power but fairly reliable as if anything goes wrong it has to go on ferry and travel a lot of miles to get to anyone that can fix it. Just wont be happy until I have a single lol. Suppose I need to phone around and get some prices on going single.

you thought about trying non sequential? Eliminates most of the rats nest and give an idea of what going single would feel like, if you go for the basic conversion you can always switch back if your not happy.
:Laugh LOL

I haven\'t thought about this option but can you get a good reliable power gain with this?

Well it would be a bit of a shame to rebuild a engine that is still ok, but it could take years to go bang...... Haha obviously u know what Orkney is like then, yes the roads are crap but always want more power and Mabie wouldn\'t mind a track day at Knockhill to.

You\'ll not get more power but it will help to make your mind up that going single is the correct thing to do. If you like it then new injectors, fuel pump, fuel regulator (poss FMIC) and a remap should help increase power nicely. Then you are set up for going single if you decide in the future to increase power more ( a clutch would probs be a good idea too) It\'s what i\'m planning on doing

Think I\'m pretty set on going single although this is a good idea but for the cost of traveling an accommodation while the work is getting done, will be high. Which is why I\'d rather go down and get it all done in one go. After looking at single turbo rx7s that\'s for sale, they seem quite cheep!? If its goin to cost me 10k to get it done I could buy one already done and then sell my old one.....
