Engine rebuild options?

Hi folks so having now got a rolling shell I\'m looking at my options for an engine.  I don\'t really want o be buying one without a compression test as I\'ve heard of the problems associated with these engines.  Therefore I have thought about getting a block and doing a rebuild.  

What is the cost of all the rebuild parts and who supplies them?

On top of a bare block what else is needed and costs? So far I\'ve learnt LIM/UIM, turbos, PS pump, alternator and anything else I\'ve missed?

I\'m new to rotaries but been building nissans for years.

I have spoke to trworx and bare blocks are going for 500 then complete with ancills 800 but needing rebuild most likely.  

Therefore what is my best option as I don\'t feel like shelling out over a grand for an engine that I\'m told sounds good.

Did a search for these answers too but couldn\'t find what I was after.
