Well this went the other way.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

What series \'vette is that?

Did the conversion get completed?

Where are the videos?

Why has no one offered me a go?

etc etc

It\'s a C4 in the states and I found it on RX8Club.  Other than that I don\'t know much about it.  Just think of the colossal size turbo you could fit out in front of it, as well as a mahoosive intercooler.  You could make loads of power.

Where the rest of the engine?!!!! There is a thread on rx7 club too with an old muscle car with a 13B turbo in it. Sounds funny watching a muscle car drive past on the videos going brap brap brap, when it should go grog grog grog with a big cam in it

Theres room for 4 more rotors :D

Lovely :p

It\'s cool, but I don\'t get it. The dude has an FD with a Grand national engine and a Chevy with a rotary? I really struggle to comprehend it.

Brett

Just realised how high that engine is sitting in the C4?

Because he can.

I recent watch a video where a guy had put a Hemi in a 55 Chevy bel air why? I hear you ask because he can. And pis s all the Chevy guys off. Also because its his car and hemis are awesome

B.Martin

Yeah but putting a different V8 into another pony car is fairly understandable, but \'just because you can\' doesn\'t always mean you should. I guess if you fancy wasting some cash for something a bit different its your choice, just i personally don\'t understand the logic.

I guess all i\'m saying is, i wouldn\'t do it...

Like i\'ve said before, buy a C5 corvette instead of putting a V8 into a RX-7. Hell buy an RX-7 instead of putting a rotary into a C5 corvette. It just seems a bit daft, sure someone might prefer the look of one over the other etc and if (as previously mentioned) you\'ve got money to burn then go... Be different and do something to \'pis s the purists off\' but seems a hell of a lot of hassle just to be a transplant troll.

The guy that is putting a 426 Hemi into a 55 Chevy is Mike Finnegan who is an Editor for Hot Rod Magazine.

55 Chevy with a Hemi link in case I embed the video wrong.

He\'s that\'s the one. Watch their YouTube videos when they come up.

Ben you do realise that puttin anything other than a Chevy engine in a Chevy is worse than a rotary v8 swap. Having a mopar motor in a Chevy could well be as bad as sleeping with your gfs mum.

B.Martin

If your a yank perhaps, but i\'m not. I know who Finnegan is, i am subscibed to hot rod mag ;)
