heater/demister

Thought I could live without them but after last night in pourin rain I couldn\'t see :censored::censored::censored::censored: so it\'s time to fix them...

The heater panel itself works, it lights up when I press the buttons I  can hear the tone of the car change (press AC button, turn fan controls)  but nothing comes through the vents...  I have a feeling it may be an L shape connector in the passenger  footwell but couldn\'t find this, any other culprits? Can\'t drive around  with misty windows anymore :/
