BEAR WITH ME GONNA BE A LONG POST.

I\'ve decided to sell as is because the cost of repairing will eat into my Race Car savings.

MAZDA RX7 FD3S 1993 L REG JAP IMPORT IN MONTEGO BLUE. TYPE R I BELIEVE AS TWIN OIL COOLERS.

HAS COVERED JUST UNDER 120000 KMS

I BOUGHT THE CAR ON 07/07 /2010 WITH A FRESH REBUILD AND NON SEQ CONVERSION BY RX MOTORS WITH RECEIPT . I DID NOT BUY FROM RX MOTORS BUT THE GUY WHO OWED IT , I DID THE RUNNING IN. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO GO BACK AND HAVE AN AFTERMARKET ECU FITTED TO CONTROL THE BOOST...HE DID NOT TELL ME THAT. SO UNTIL THIS YEAR WAS RUNNING 0.5BAR .

THIS CAR IS RECORDED ON THE HPI REGISTER AS A CAT C AND HAD ITS IDENTITY CHECKED ON THE 06/04/2010. I WAS INFORMED STOLEN RECOVERED. I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE CAR HAD A 2ND HAND RED DRIVERS DOOR AND WING FITTED TO IT. NO CHASSIS DAMAGE AND NO WELDING I KNOW EVERY INCH OF THIS CAR AS DONE ALL THE MODS AND SERVICING MYSELF.

11 MONTHS TAX BUT I MAY SEND THAT BACK IF NOT GONE BY END OF MONTH.
NO ADVISORY MOT TIL APRIL 4TH 2013.

FUJITSUBO REAR EXHAUST 4" JASMA RATED ( QUIET)
NEW D2 REAR COILOVERS AND USED  TEIN FRONT COILVERS ALL FULLY ALIGNED WITH PRINT OUT
GOODRIDGE BRAIDED HOSES WITH ENDLESS RACING FLUID.
NEW BREMBO FRONT DISC AND 70% WORN DS2500 PADS.
REAR EBC PADS.
MAGNECOR LEAD BOUGHT 2011 NEW PLUGS.
V.RARE RACING BEAT STEERING WHEEL.
SONY CD PLAYER DISPLAY IN RED MATCHES INTERIOR.
IN 2011 THE CAR WAS RESPRAYED IN MONTEGO BLUE BY MY MATE AS HAD SOME LAQUER PEEL ON THE REAR QTRS.
NEVER BEEN WELDED AND NO RUST.
THERE ARE SOME BLEMISHES WHEN I REMOVED FRONT BUMPER I CHIPPED SOME PAINT OFF THE WINGS. THIS HAS BEEN TOUCHED UP.
CLEAR SIDE AND FRONT LIGHTS.
18" MANIA ALLOYS WITH AVON  ZV3 255 REARS AND 225 FRONT 5MM PLUS.
INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR IS BASICALLY STANDARD NO FIBRE GLASS NO SPLITER ETC.
THE CLUTCH IS SLIPPIN WHEN COLD AS NEARLY WORN OUT I HAVE A BRAND NEW EXEDY STAGE 1 ORGANIC CLUTCH TO GO WITH CAR.

CAT 1 GT ALARM WITH 2 FOBS IN FULL WORKING ORDER.

I BELIEVE FRONT ROTOR HAS BLOWN NO COMPRESSION.

ALSO RACING PLUGS, STANDARD SHOCKS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION,STANDARD SIDE LIGHTS, AN EAR SPLITTING 108 DB KAKIMOTO EXHAUST . STANDARD WHEELS WITH GOOD TYRES. ( MAYBE FLAT).
FAULTS
OIL GAUGE JUMPY
REV GAUGE SOMETIMES DROPS TO ZERO COMES BACK AFTER 5 MIN
PASSENGER DOOR CARD HANDLE A TAD LOOSE...MY MATE SHAT HIMSELF AND PULLED ON IT LOL.
FRONT TYRES WEARING ON INNER EDGES
FRONT COILOVERS WHERE 2ND HAND AND A BIT TIRED BUT NOT LEAKING.

THINK THATS IT FOR NOW I\'LL ADD AS I REMEMBER.... I DO BELIEVE FAILURE IS A RESULT OF SOME RECENT OVERHEATING I HAD WHEN I DUCTED IN THE RAD SO THE AIR HAD TO GO FIRST THROUGH THE FMIC THEN THE RAD. THIS I BELIEVE IS SOLVED BY REMOVING AND PUTTING SOME SCOOPS IN UNDERTRAY. SHE WAS NOT OVERHEATING AND NOT OVER BOOSTING WHEN SHE LET GO....INFACT SHE WAS FLYING:D

I AM AS HONEST AS THE DAY IS LONG AND I WANT MY CAR TO GO TO A GOOD HOME SHE IS FAR TO GOOD TO BRAKE... I\'VE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY
ON HER AND SHE GETS GOOD COMMENTS EVERYWHERE I GO.

Everyones gone quiet on me....prob the cat C thing...she is straight as a die...have a print out when coilovers went on, front tyres are worn at edges as came of my Skyline......a load of fuss about nothing.

Minus the tax as that \'ll be sent back before end of sept.

Jon I think to be honest your price is fair. A car like this is a project and the market is slow. The best way to make your money quickly is to part it out I\'m afraid but if you hold out someone may come along and purchase the lot.

CAT C shouldn\'t scare people if everything is straight.

Hi Mate,
Previous owner informed me stolen recovered.  I fully checked out at time of buying 2.5 years ago and all i could come up with was 2nd hand drivers wing and door had been replaced as red underneath at some time in the past.( some stone chips ) No chassis damage ever seen and i had all the wheels off several times etc. At this age it would be written off for a minor feeder bender. Its straight.
