Alarm fault advice please

I have an intermittent fault on my Cobra alarm system, the radio key fobs will not work, happened again when I got home from RS9, replaced batteries in 2 keyfobs and resynced them with no luck, and then it all worked OK a couple of days later :3Confused I have an auto electrician looking at it tomorrow, hopefully it is just a bad connection somewhere, the issue seems more likely to happen on a hot day.

Heard of possible issues with alarm wiring on FDs, if the electrician wants to make changes to or replace my current alarm any advice I should be aware of?
